11. HSN-Fachsymposium mit „Open Forum"

Das 11. HSN-Symposium mit OpenForum findet 2024 wiederum zweitägig am 13.und 14. November im ZEISS Innovation Hub @KIT, Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Platz 6, 76344 Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen statt.

Dabei gibt es einige Neuerungen um die Attraktivität des Symposiums weiter zu steigern. So sind drei der vier Sessions Schwerpunktthemen gewidmet für die bereits Key-Note-Speaker gewonnen werden konnten, und zwar:

Eine vierte Session ist allgemeinen Sensorthemen gewidmet.

Neu ist auch, dass die Vortragssprache auf Wunsch vieler Teilnehmer nun primär englisch sein wird.

Ebenfalls neu ist, dass im Rahmen des Symposiums ein Tutorial mit zwei Lectures angeboten wird. Die Themen der beiden Lectures sind:

  • Lecture 1: AI for material development for sensors
  • Lecture 2: AI for sensor data

Das Tutorial findet am Nachmittag des ersten Symposiumstag parallel zu einer Führung durch ein KIT-Institut statt. Die Teilnahme am Tutorial ist mit zusätzlichen Kosten verbunden, jedoch für HSN-Mitglieder und Studenten kostenfrei.

Als bereits fester Baustein des Symposiums findet auch dieses Jahr wieder ein Open Forum statt, eine Partnerbörse für interessierte Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichten in Form von Kurzvorträgen und/oder Postern zur gegenseitigen Vorstellung. Nutzen Sie das Open Forum zum Gedankenaustausch, zur Diskussion und zur Anbahnung neuer Kooperationen.

Beiträge (Abstrats zu Vorträgen und Poster) aus Wissenschaft, Forschung und Industrie können ab sofort in Form von Abstracts (siehe Template) per E-Mail eingereicht werden. Die Vorträge dauern 20 min. plus 5 min Diskussion. Vortragssprache ist primär Englisch.

Deadline für die Einreichung der Abstracts ist der 16. August 2024. Am 27. September erfolgt die Benachrichtigung über die Annahme der Beiträge.

Anmeldungen zum Open Forum können formlos per E-Mail erfolgen. Über die Teilnahme wird ebenfalls am 27. September entschieden.

  • Participation fee (Catering included) is 180 €.
  • It is reduced for speakers as well as for HSN members and PhD students (90 €).

this is a kind invitation to the 11th specialist symposium of the HybridSensorNet e.V. association.

The symposium with the included Open Forum will take place from November 13th till 14th, 2024. Venue is the ZEISS Innovation Hub @KIT, Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Platz 6, 76344 Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen.

Contributions and posters from science, research and industry can now be submitted in the form of abstracts (see template) by email. The lectures last 20 minutes. English language is preferred.

The included Open Forum will host a contact exchange for interested companies and research institutions in form of short poster presentations for mutual introduction. Use the Open Forum to exchange ideas, for discussion and to initiate new cooperation. Registrations for the Open Forum, including a short description of your company or research institution, can be also made by e-mail.

The deadline for submitting abstracts as well as for the registration to the Open Forum is August 16th, 2024. You will be notified on September 27th about the acceptance of the papers and the contribution to the Open Forum.

For the first time, a tutorial (containing 2 lectures) is included in the symposium:

Lecture 1: AI for material development for sensors
Lecture 2: AI for sensor data

The lectures will be held at the afternoon of the first symposium day (13th of November).

The additional participation fee for the lectures are 120 € for both lectures and 80€ for one lecture. There is no additional participation fee for HSN members and students.
